A Delicious Recipe For Orange Sherbet Jell-O!!!!!

This is a fun, easy recipe.....for an absolutely wonderful dessert or side dish. I just finished making this to have with crock pot chicken this evening for the family.

DELICIOUS ORANGE SHERBET JELL-O

2 - 3 oz. pkgs. orange Jell-O

1 c. water

1 - 8 oz. container Cool Whip, thawed

1 pint orange sherbet

Boil the water and remove from heat. Add the 2 pkgs. of orange Jell-O and stir until dissolved. Set the Jell-O aside and let cool for a couple of minutes.

In a separate, large bowl, mix together the Cool whip and orange sherbet. Add the Jell-O to Cool Whip mixture and mix thoroughly until well combined.

Refrigerate for about 4 hours to set.

Enjoy!

You would absolutely LOVE this then! It is just incredible! Doesn't last long around here, either! Oh.....and you can use other flavors as well.....flavor of Jell-O to match the sherbet flavor!!!!

Sounds good, if I used sugar free Jello and sugar free cool whip it could be a good diabetic safe dessert.

This is absolutely incredible....the guys really love it, as do I!!!!!! I've never used any "sugar free" products......I think they would scream if I did......LOL!!!! I guess, though, you probably could substitute.
This is soooo easy to make and something everybody loves!

I think, also, that a person could use another flavor instead of orange....e.g. raspberry, strawberry, etc.

It really is an incredible dessert, or side dish, whichever one prefers......I just made it today to have with our organic chicken and corn tonight for our evening meal.........very, very quick and easy......oh so good...it just melts in one's mouth!!!!! It's difficult cooking for my picky family!!!

This sound wonderful. Do you melt the sherbet or how do you mix it? using a mixer?

Generally, using a mixer.....however, today I got in a hurry, let the sherbet melt a little and just mixed it in with the Cool Whip with a large spoon........that didn't work the best....hmmmmm, I should have known better but, was in a hurry! It still turned out really good, though!

Hi Audrey! Aw heck, I can eat this at midnight! As a matter of fact, I just had a bit more at 10:30 tonight....LOL!!!!!! It is sooo good! Also, I drink coffee right up till I head to bed....just had my last cup for the night!
