How often do you use a microwave for cooking or heating food and drink?

I use my microwave pretty much daily for various things, as I've not had a "working" stove in a long, long time! However, I do very well, using the microwave, 2 crockpots, a skillet, a NuWave oven (that I still haven't gotten out of the box yet!), and a new toaster oven. I try to use the other small appliances more than the microwave, though.

I make popcorn and baked potatoes in my microwave everyday and that is it.

Sometimes daily, sometimes once a week. Beverages are usually made with my beautiful red teapot. If it's leftovers I usually use the microwave, but some fried things need to be baked or else they make for soggy leftovers.

I read an article somewhere that named the microwave as the most energy efficient way to reheat leftover food.

I use my reliable microwave, daily. My hubby works till the early crack of dawn and my daughter doesn't like to reheat her food on the stove.

I think I use it about once a day really. Heat up left overs and the vegetables for dinner. Let's not mention drinks, in the winter it's various coffee drinks and hot chocolate. The summer though is a fast way to make tea.

I use it frequently, all depends on what I'm doing and whether it's for just me, or others too. I would say my use is just to heat things up though, not really "cook" anything so to say.

Hardly ever. Once in a great while I will use it to reheat a cup of coffee. Seems to me coffee heated in the microwave cools faster than coffee brewed in the pot. If I ever get bored enough, I may time the cooling times to see if my perceptions are right or wrong.

That's my perception, too. But it is faster to reheat in the microwave both times than to brew the tea once the other way.

Everyday, usually several times a day, either to heat up my coffee or tea and heating up Soup. And with Baby James now, I heat up his bottle several times a day also.

havent counted but would be lost without that gadget in the kitchen. I want to learn how to really cook using the microwave not only warm up stuff in there.

Almost everyday. Since there's only 2 of us now, and I still cook like there's 4, we always have leftovers in the freezer. My microwave is essential! :)

Since there are only two of us at home, I make one or two pots of tea a day and we drink them hot right away and reheat during the day until the pots are empty. I also cook some veggies, especially frozen ones, and I reheat leftovers. Sometimes I even use it to sterilize kitchen sponges or heat a hot compress.
