What internet browser do you use to Gather?

I had been using Chrome, but I've had so many issues with it crashing in recent weeks as well as needing to run a virus scan for something that apparently only affects my computer when Chrome is running.

I'm currently using Safari and even though it's made for Apple/Mac products, it's significantly faster even on my PC, making it easier to get through group content without slowing me down.

I use Firefox to browse and IE when I want to upload anything because it is the only browser I have tried that will allow me to do so.

Is safari a free download? I have been using Chrome and firefox but both are having issues like you described, crashing all the time. I'm ready to try something new.

Yes, it's free. Just search for Safari download and choose the operating system that you have. It may take some getting used to since it's an apple/mac based product as opposed to a pc/google based platform, but it's way faster for me.

I use Firefox, and I've been having the same trouble with it. Every time I start going through my gather email, it crashes on me. I'm beginning to wonder if it has more to do with gather than it does firefox. It doesn't happen when I'm doing anything else.

I've used Firefox for several years. I've never had any issues with it. IE is ridiculous. I tried Chrome for a very short while and didn't like it much better than IE.

I only use Firefox now. My Chrome got infected and won't work for any websites, anymore.

I was using Chrome but when I got my new computer I only have Internet Explorer. Decided just to use it unless it starts giving me fits and then I will download Chrome again. So far been good.
